Assignment submission
Programming problems are to be submitted electronically by committing your changes to your SVN repository.
Using grace days
Submissions will be checked out by the TAs as of the due date and time, unless you send a request to use a grace day by e-mail to the instructor. Requests must be submitted before the assignment is due. You may send several requests for grace days if you decide you need more grace days, but each time the new grace day must be requested before the previous grace day expires. For example, A1 is due on February 10th, but you need to use a grace day. You send e-mail requesting 1 grace day for A1, which makes your new deadline 11:00 p.m. on February 11th. At 10:50 p.m. on the 11th you discover a bug in your code and decide you want to take another day to fix it. You send another e-mail request indicating that you are using 2 grace days for A1 before 11:00 p.m. on the 11th, which will make your new deadline 9:00 p.m. on February 12th.
This policy is to allow the TAs to start marking before all possible grace days have passed. If you do not submit the form on time, the TAs may mark a version of your assignment that is not your final submission. The 10% penalty for assignments that need to be remarked due to incorrect submission will apply in this case.
