Overview

Welcome to the course webpage for the Fall 2012 term of CSC343H, an Introduction to Databases. This course provides an introduction to database management systems. Topics include the relational data model; relational algebra; querying and updating databases: the query language SQL; application programming with SQL; integrity constraints, normal forms, and database design; elements of database system technology: query processing, transaction management; modeling and programming for semi-structured data.
