Overview

Welcome to the course webpage for the Winter 2015 term of CSC309H - Programming on the Web. This course provides an introduction to operational concepts of the internet and the web and software development on the web. Topics include static client content, dynamic client content, dynamically served content, n-tiered architectures, web development processes, security, scalability and usability on the web. The course involves the development of a web-based service. Guest lecturers from leading e-commerce firms will describe the architecture and operation of their web sites.
