CSC104H: The Why and How of Computing -- Winter 2009


Welcome to the winter 2008 term of CSC104H, The Why and How of Computing. This course is meant as an introduction to computing for non-computer scientists. The course information sheet gives you the administrative details about the course.

You are welcome to use any of the CDF labs to do your work. You'll need to know your CDF userid, and your initial password is your student number. The labs are located mostly in the Bahen building: BA3200, BA2200, BA2210, BA2220, BA2240, BA227. BA3175 and BA3195 may also be available, but these are the closed labs used for lab sessions for a few courses. Please read the guide for new students for more information.

If you have questions about the lab machines or using the software, please try the Help Centre. The TAs there are most helpful.
